Deloris Heart was formed in memory and as a tribute to Deloris Jackson an immigrant herself who dedicated her life investing in the lives of others, especially women and children. She would not allow herself to ignore a family in need without providing support whether it be food, clothing, shelter, counseling. She took the clothing from her children and shared with others in need. She shared her families meals with other families in need. Her legacy of compassion lives on with the mission of this organization.
